Overview: Balsam Brands is looking for a talented, driven Site Operations Manager to join our team in the Philippines. The candidate will provide support to all of our ecommerce businesses by overseeing various tasks duties, which will have a direct impact on site performance. This person must have a passion for taking initiative, testing, analyzing, managing a small team and making a difference to achieve results. Description: This job is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our team and work closely with our team to ensure optimal performance across various sites. The Site Operations Manager will work closely with his/her colleagues in the U.S. to maintain and enhance our website content, and assist with one the analysis and reporting of data.
Manage our Ecommerce team; prepare work schedules; assign projects; train new members on all key tasks & processes; oversee quality performance of the team
Help identify seasonal resource requirements for your team and request resources to properly staff the team to meet the business needs; manage temporary or seasonal employees.
Support our team of U.S.-based site managers by assisting with maintenance of website content and images.
Upload images, prices and other data for individual websites
Create new web content using rules and guidelines provided by site managers
Update web content using html
Review website’s performance and produce reports focusing on functionality, usability and performance improvement. Provides analysis and improvement initiatives for common issues across the site
Conduct site audits (including competitor sites)
Create tables, reports, and analysis using advanced excel formulas
Populate Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint presentations
Interpret and summarize data to be included in various reports
Ensure tax tables are up to date and accurate
Be the primary point of contact with selected vendors, to ensure smooth functioning of content tools (e.g. customer reviews)
As appropriate, assist web development team with website tasks, using detailed instructions provided
Manage and configuring online tools to support our websites
Skills Required: A successful Site Operations Manager should have the following skills:
Degree from a top tier institution
Must have a minimum of 2 - 5 years’ work experience
Must have experience in managing a team of 3+ people
Working knowledge of HTML
Strong knowledge of Excel and comfort building and using complex models and formulas
Analytical and inquisitive mind, eagerness to learn (willingness to learn new tools quickly) and detail-oriented
Ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative information
Competitive self-starter. Demonstrating willingness to jump in to help accomplish tasks across many areas.
Ability to figure out new task through exploration rather than needing detailed instructions first.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude (eagerness to take initiative and consistently exceed expectations)
Demonstrated history of teamwork
Demonstrated history of successful project management, balancing priorities effectively
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are required as the management team is US-based. Comfort working through a task via electronic means: email and chat
